~TIPS FOR QUITTING SMOKING~

Heeeee….haiiiii….. Lama gila tak blogging sampai I don't know what to say.Hahahaaaaa~… I'm too busy this semester laaa. Banyak interesting things yang happened kot. Even bz giler ni.. bz neh, bz!! Hak3~.. tapi still ada masa nk update kejap. Act tak ada benda je kot nk citer. Tapi… ada some tips lh aku nk kongsi2 ngn kowg…haaa.. kowg nmpk x atas 2?? Comey dak, comey dak pic tue?? Haaa… so, meh baca meh entry kali neh… meh3… ngeeeee~…. (^__~)





TIPS FOR QUITTING SMOKING….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Errggghhhh~~





1. Commit Thyself Fully. In the quits that failed, korang was only half into it. Biasanya korang slalu je.. “I told myself I wanted to quit, but I always felt in the back of my mind that I’d fail n bla..bla..blaa...” Ye dakkk, ye dakk???. Korang xleh lh mcm tue… lau korg cyes giler2 nak berhenti.. korang kne commit lh sepenuhnye oke!






2. Make a Plan. Neh maknanye… u can’t just up and say, “I’m gonna quit today.” You have to prepare yourself bro..!!! Plan it out..!! Have a system of rewards, a support system, a person to call if you’re in trouble. Hahh.. korg write down lh what you’ll do when you get an urge. Print it out.. print k! n tampal kt dinding bilik ke, dapur ke, kt meja study ke n mne2 jelh heh.. at least, biler kowg bt camtu… kowg remember ckit kowg pny niat 2…







3. Know Your Motivation. When the urge comes, your mind will rationalize. “What’s the harm?What’s the hell? N… erggghhhh…” pahtu, mulalah kowg lupa nawaitu kowg 2.. kowg kne tahu jgk.. coz ape kowg nk berhenti sebenarnye an3??? Is it for your kids?(ergghh.. lau yg dh ada anak lh an… hik3~…) For your wife?(lau yg dh berbini..) or pun.. For you health? And ataupun jugak…. Sebabbbb… the girl you like doesn’t like smokers???ye dak, ye dak, ye dak????hak3~!!... s0, Have a very good reason or reasons for quitting! List them out. Print them out. Put it on a wall…!! And remind yourself of those reasons every day, every urge bro…









4. Not One Puff, Ever (N.O.P.E.). The mind is a tricky thing. It will tell you that one cigarette won’t hurt. And it’s hard to argue with that logic, especially when you’re in the middle of an urge. And those urges are super hard to argue with. Don’t give in. Tell yourself, before the urges come, that you will not smoke a single puff, EVER AGAIN...! Because the truth is, that one puff WILL hurt. One puff leads to a second, and a third, and soon you’re not quitting, you’re smoking. Jangan bodohkan diri lah…. A single puff will almost always lead to a recession. DO NOT TAKE A SINGLE PUFF! Cyesly lh aku cakap..








5. Join a Forum. Erkkk… yg neh aku xnak explain pjg2 ekk.. c0z aku tahu xramai yg suker ceramah2 neh.. (me too!) hahahaaaa… so, lau ada forum ke ape ke… Free2 tue, kowg joinlh jugak.. adding ur knowledge yauu..!!








6. Reward Yourself. Set up a plan for your rewards. Definitely reward yourself after the first day, and the second, and the third. You can do the fourth if you want, but definitely selepas minggu pertama or minggu kedua lh... And month 1, and month 2, and 6 months and a year. Celebrate your every success! You deserve it. Giler an!! Hahahaaa~.. Xpun, susah2 sgt.. ko suruh je.. awek ko ke, sape ke, yg mintak ko berhenti tuh.. belanja ko! Hahahaaaa~… (ye lh.. nak aku berhenti sgt an??? Erkkk… kihkihkih~…)









7. Delay. If you have an urge, wait! Do the following things: take 10 deep breaths. Drink water. Air masak lh yo! Huk3~.. Eat a snack (at first it was candy and gum, then switched to healthier stuff like carrots). Call your support person… (awek ko tulah.. ngeh3~..) Post on your smoking cessation forum. Exercise. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES, BUT DELAY, DELAY, DELAY...!!!









8. Replace Negative Habits with Positive Ones. Haaa… apa yg kowg buat, biler kowg stress?? bengang sampai nak mampus ke?? Pe yang kowg buat??? Teeeettttt…!!! Konpem kowg merokok an?? Ye dak, ye dak, ye dak??? Aisshhhh.. tolonglh!.. tolong try tinggalkan tabiat tue… try lah kowg deep breathing ke, self massage of ur neck and shoulders, and exercise...!! xpun, kowg p je karaoke… lagi murah dari beli rokok tue! Satu lagu, sehinggit! At situ, kowg melalak lh puas2! Bez ape! Hakhak.. s0,should be replaced with better, more positive ones…!









9. Make it Through Hell Week, then Heck Week, and You’re Golden. Hahahaa…. Yelah.. biasanya first day, two day tuelh yg susahnye an... If you can get past that, you’ve passed the nicotine withdrawal stage, and the rest is mostly mental. (erkkk… Cam doc ar plak… ngeeee~..) But all of the first week is hell. Kehkehkeh… time nehla.. sgala pyakit mau dtg.. tak demam pn.. boleh demam.. kan3??? pahtu, it begins to get easier lah... Second week is Heck Week, and is still difficult, but not nearly as hellish as the first. Ngeh3~… After that, it was smooth sailing. You must felt confident u could make it through anything. So, trust me oke??? Ecececehhhhh~.. hahaha~…









10. If You Fall, Get Up. And Learn From Your Mistakes. Yes, kiter sume pernah gagal. Tapi, that does not mean we are failures, ataupun that we can never succeed! Jika kiter jatuh, it’s not the end of the world k. Get up,bangun..bangun..bangunnnnn…!!!! brush yourself off, and try again. Well, sometimes we repeated the same mistakes several times, but eventually we learned. Figure out what your obstacles to success are, and plan to overcome them in your next quit. And don’t wait a few months until your next quit. Give yourself a few days to plan and prepare, commit fully to it, and go for it! Go.. go..go…!!!!! oh yeaaaahhhhhhhh….!!!














BONUS TIP:





THINK POSITIVE. This is the most important tip of all. I saved it for last. If you have a positive, can-do attitude, you will succeed. Trust me. It works. Tell yourself that you can do it, and you will. Tell yourself that you can’t do it, and you definitely won’t. When things get rough, think positive! You CAN make it through the urge. You CAN make it through Hell Week. And you can…
